Carol Singing with
Graham James Primary School
Alan Clark arrived with a full quota of pupils,
plus a supporting army of staff and parents at Lakeside Shopping Centre. We were
on floor 2 this year but still close to the central displays. The choir went
through a repertoire of carols and Christmas songs that we have enjoyed for
several years. The relationship with the school seems to grow stronger every
year and the choir seemed to have swollen further.
They were in good voice, as usual, and were having a good time especially on the more 'active' songs which required some actions. The supporters that accompanied the children were also doing their best. Singing along and coaching for the songs requiring the more energetic displays.
Thanks go to all the children of the choir who gave their all in their singing.
We also appreciate all the work behind the scenes by Alan, Pauline, and all the teachers and parents that helped.
We also thank our collectors for giving their time, and to Lakeside staff for all their help.
And of course to the shoppers for their generosity in our collecting £475.69,
and also who made many comments as to what a pleasure it was to see and hear the children.
